Cowans sells, implements and supports Sage HCM (formerly Criterion HCM), Sage HRMS, Praxis and LightWork. Delvon has also led implementations of UKG Ready, UKG Pro, UKG Workforce Management, Paycom, Paylocity, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP and Acumatica.

How long does a payroll implementation take?
It depends on the modules you need, how clean your data is, how many systems connect to payroll, and how available your staff is. Headcount does not change the process: whether it is 40 employees or 40,000, the steps are the same. We set a realistic timeline in the planning phase and plan go-live away from quarter-end and year-end wherever possible.
Can you help if our implementation stalled or went wrong?
Yes. Post-go-live optimization is part of what Cowans does. We review where the system stands, find what is causing the errors or workarounds, and put a plan in place to fix it.
Do you work outside Alabama?
Yes. Cowans is based in Mobile, Alabama, and has served clients across the United States, Canada and the Bahamas, remotely and on site.
